About App Availability
App Availability checks where an app is listed on the App Store and Google Play, and its rating and chart position in each country. It works for any app, including a competitor's.
Who runs it
I'm Andrei Nastasiu. I build and run App Availability through my company, NASTASIU HOLDING SRL, registered in Romania. Questions, bugs and requests reach me directly at andrew@appavailability.com or through the contact form.
Why it exists
App Store Connect and Google Play Console report on your own apps. Neither shows where an app stands country by country, or lets you look at an app you do not own. Checking by hand means switching the store's country one market at a time. App Availability reads every market in one pass: 175 App Store storefronts and 176 Google Play locations.
How the data is read
Every check reads the store live, at the moment you run it. For the App Store, that is Apple's public iTunes Search API, its RSS feeds and its storefront pages. For Google Play, it is Google Play's own public store pages. No third-party data provider sits in between, and nothing is estimated.
Two things to know before reading a report:
- Google Play publishes one worldwide rating count, not one per country, and keys its reviews by language. Play reports show availability, rating, price and chart position per country.
- “Not available” means the store does not list the app there. On both stores that is almost always the developer's own release choice, and only rarely a legal block or a removal.
What it costs
Up to 5 countries per report is free and needs no account. A free account covers 200 countries a month, every country in one report. Pro re-checks saved apps on a schedule and emails what changed. The details are on Pricing.
